End Scene

Just finished a 1700-word essay on Elizabeth Bishop, Robert Lowell, and Randall Jarrell, to be turned in tonight at 6 p.m. Last night, I sent the files for a 134-page book to a printer, to be delivered to me next Friday, and turned in on May 1.

There are no outstanding assignments in my academic career. I have completed everything. Everything.


Now I just need to return all those overdue library books so they actually let me graduate . . .
