A Quick Thought

An idea occurred to me at Institute this evening (be so proud that I went). We were talking about how it's always been important to the Church to keep a historical record, not just a spiritual one, and that we are encouraged to do that on a personal level as well as organizational. Once again, I wondered why.

Perhaps the reason our personal records are so important to Heavenly Father is that we are so important to Heavenly Father. We are his children. We matter to him. He wants to know what is happening in our lives, and in order for us to talk to him about what's happening we need to remember.
