Reasons why I'm happy today:
1) No roommates for five days. It's truly delightful.
2) An average of only 50% humidity. (ha.)
3) Sushi for lunch with coworkers.
4) A sparkling clean kitchen (see point 1).
5) Three bookcases that will be organized and catalogued tonight.
6) My self-purchased birthday gift is currently en route.
7) A work field trip to get photos framed.
8) I'm actually going to purchase the heels I've tried on three times.
9) A pencil skirt as part of my attire makes me (almost) look my age.
10) The Lizze McGuire soundtrack during the commute makes me feel 15. Girls Camp, anyone?

Those are all REALLY good reasons to be happy :)! I like the no roommates the best. I don't have any roommates right now either (husband in texas). I'm enjoying the mac and cheese movie nights :)!
ReplyDeleteAllison, I think you would look great with a really warm dark brown color. Go for it. Have the courage that I lack right now.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love your blog. Charlotte got me hooked.
Also, I want to talk to you about Boston and writing. I may come out there and join you. :)
1. I loved it when my roommates went out of town, even when I liked them. There is something to be said for knowing that you'll have the apartment to yourself.
ReplyDelete4. Clean kitchens are bomb.
6. I love giving myself birthday presents.
And I have dyed my hair before but haven't since my wedding. Whenever I did, though, I always did a warm dark brown. If I could afford it, I'd probably get it done now (I always took advantage of the hair schools in Provo, and then my sister-in-law after I got serious with Josh, so I never paid full-price for it). You should definitely do the Rory color--I love her hair.
